Fantastic skin, no more oiliness!, November 10, 2009

I have combination skin. It’s very oily in my T-zone and dry around my cheeks. I have to moisturize and while my cheeks feel fine, my T-zone becomes extremely oily throughout the day. I’ve used oil blotting papers and made them completely clear. It’s horrible! I’ve also set my makeup in the morning with powder, but that doesn’t last long enough. My face gets oily very quickly. It’s so annoying. I decided to look for something that lasted longer, so I searched around on Amazon.com and found this setting spray. At first I thought it was a bit pricey, but I decided to give it a try. Anything to get rid of the oil on my face!

When I first tried it, I was a bit scared. I didn’t know how far to spray it and how many times. I decided to spray it at arm’s length and three times. Once to the left, once in the middle, and once to the right. I sprayed it one more time in the middle just in case. I kept my eyes closed for about 30 seconds so that my eyes didn’t burn. Then the test began. I made sure to test it on a hot day to see how long it would last. Well let me tell you, it was great! I had no oiliness after many, many hours. Okay maybe just a tiny bit, but nothing to the extent that I previously experienced. Just a couple of blots with the blotting paper and my face still looked fresh, like it first looked when I put on my makeup that morning. The paper didn’t become transparent! And to be fair, I did have my makeup on for well over eight hours. That’s a really long time. Normally my face would be oilier than french fries at a fast food restaurant after less than half that time (bad analogy, but hopefully you get the point).

My face felt tight and a little wet at first after spraying it, but that feeling goes away quickly. Make sure your mascara is completely dry before spraying. You may feel strange because of the wetness, but don’t worry. Your makeup won’t run. Trust me! I’ve read in other reviews that people didn’t like the fragrance. Well I liked it. It’s not too strong and I found it to be a nice, clean fragrance. I’ve used it five times (15-20 sprays) and a little over an inch of it is gone in the bottle. I can see that it could last 300 sprays.

I really do recommend this product. It worked for me and I was pleasantly surprised by how matte my faced looked, as opposed to looking like I put vegetable oil on my face on purpose. That’s not cute. At all.

Great Product, May 13, 2010

I live in Trinidad and I bought this product to help keep my makeup matte because here is really hot and after makeup application you tend to sweat away your makeup. I must say I was not sure if this product will work. But after trying model in a bottle the first morning after getting ready for work, my doubts was put to rest. The product does really keep your make up looking fresh for long. Dont get me wrong you do sweat but your make up does not run. All you need to do is blot up the sweat or little bit of grease that appear and you look all fresh again.
